The newly ordained priests being vested after the consecration prayer

It was on 7th July 2018 that God gave Hoima Catholic Diocese more laborers to look after his flock in the persons of fourteen newly ordained priests and ten deacons. The Ordination rites were carried out in a Pontifical Mass which was led by the Rt. Rev. Vincent Kirabo Amooti, the Bishop Ordinary of Hoima Diocese.

What made this year’s ordinations quite special and different from the recent past ordinations was the ordination of Rev. Fr. Achiles Bisoborwa a religious priest, belonging to the Congregation of the Camilians. Fr. Achiles is originally born from Sts. Peter and Paul, Kabwoya Parish, Hoima Diocese.

Deacons who were ordained Priests during the ordination rite

This happens to be the third time Bishop Kirabo officiates an ordination ceremony in his diocese since his consecration as Bishop Ordinary of Hoima three years back.
To the newly ordained deacons, we wish them success as they embark on their final year of seminary formations, and to the newly ordained priests, we wish them success and blessing in their priestly ministry.
